2. In short

• Your progress (coins, stars, gear, best scores, streak) is stored on your device and – if you are signed in to iCloud – in your iCloud (for your other devices). We run no servers and have no user accounts.
• Leaderboards and achievements use Apple Game Center; purchases are handled by Apple.
• Ads are served by Google AdMob. Personalised ads only with your consent – you can change it in the game at any time.
• We never sell data.

3. Progress (device and iCloud)

KickRun stores progress, settings and purchases on your iPhone/iPad. If you are signed in to iCloud, KickRun also keeps a copy of your progress (coins, stars, gear, progress – no contact data, no settings) in your Apple ID's iCloud storage so it is the same on your other devices. The copy is stored by Apple in your account; we have no access to it and run no servers. If you delete the app, the iCloud copy remains and is restored when you reinstall. Turn off or delete: iOS Settings → your name → iCloud. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

4. Apple Game Center

If you are signed in to Game Center, the game submits your scores (daily, weekly and all-time leaderboards) and achievements to Apple and loads leaderboard positions. Other players can see your Game Center name and scores. Apple (Apple Distribution International Ltd., Cork, Ireland) is responsible for Game Center; see Apple's Privacy Policy. You can sign out in iOS Settings; the game still works without leaderboards. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

5. In-app purchases

Purchases (e.g. "No Ads", "Starter Pack") are processed by Apple only. We receive no payment data, just confirmation of which product was bought. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

6. Advertising (Google AdMob)

KickRun shows ads via Google AdMob (Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland): optional rewarded videos (e.g. "Coins ×2") and occasional ads between runs. Buying "No Ads" removes the ads between runs.

Google may process: IP address (approximate location), device identifiers (e.g. the advertising ID IDFA – only if you allow tracking), device and app information, ad interactions, crash and performance data. Google may combine this with data from other apps and websites to personalise and measure ads.

• Consent (GDPR): on first launch Google's consent dialog (UMP) asks whether personalised ads are allowed. Without consent, only non-personalised ads are shown.
• Tracking (Apple): iOS then asks whether KickRun may track you across other companies' apps (App Tracking Transparency). If you decline, Google gets no advertising ID.
• Change/withdraw: any time in the game under gear → Settings → PRIVACY, and for tracking in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
• Only family-friendly ads (rating "G") are requested.

Legal bases: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG (personalised ads, access to device identifiers – consent only); Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (non-personalised ads, fraud prevention, measurement – our legitimate interest in offering the game for free). 7. Sharing

"Share" after a run opens the iOS share sheet with a text (score, distance). You decide what to share and where; the game itself sends nothing.

8. Email contact

If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply and delete them once no longer needed. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR.

9. This website

These pages are hosted on Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When you visit them, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data (IP address, time, page, browser details) to deliver the site and protect it against attacks. A data processing agreement is in place with Cloudflare; Cloudflare may transfer data to the USA and is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Cloudflare Privacy Policy). Fonts and images are served from this site itself – no data is sent to Google or other services. No cookies, no tracking, no analytics. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

9a. Contact form (Tally)

The contact form on the contact page is provided by Tally (Tally BV, Brussels, Belgium). When you open the page, your browser loads the form from Tally, which processes technically necessary data (IP address, browser). What you enter (name, email, message) is stored by Tally in the EU and emailed to us; we only use it to reply and delete it afterwards. To prevent spam, Tally may use Google reCAPTCHA (Google Ireland Ltd., possible transfer to the USA, EU-US Data Privacy Framework). A data processing agreement is in place with Tally (Tally privacy policy). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR. You can always email us directly instead.

10. Children

KickRun is rated 9+. We do not collect personal data from children ourselves. Only family-friendly ads are requested. Parents can restrict tracking and purchases via iOS Screen Time.

11. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR), and may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)). As we store no data about you ourselves, requests about Game Center go to Apple and about ad data to Google – we are happy to help. You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, e.g. the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin.

12. Changes

If the game changes (e.g. new services), we update this policy. The version published here applies.
